Isabella and Vivian, two beautiful and wealthy friends, their hearts filled with sadistic pleasure, commanded Isabella’s servant Lydia to come over. They order Lydia to stand and turn around, subjecting her to their scrutiny. The air thickened with mockery as Isabella began the cruel spectacle.
“Oh, Vivian, do you see this?” Isabella sneered, gesturing at Lydia. “Ugliness from every angle. It’s a wonder she doesn’t frighten the other servants away just by existing.”
Vivian joined in the mockery, “OMG, Isabella. I’ve seen more beauty in a beggar’s alley than in this sorry excuse for a woman. Look at those wretched features. Does she think she’s fit to breathe the same air as us?”
As Lydia turned under their harsh scrutiny, her eyes downcast in humiliation, Isabella continued her taunts. “Lydia, dear, I didn’t realize we were hosting a carnival of horrors in our own mansion. Perhaps we should put you on display for the amusement of our guests.”
Vivian laughed heartily, reveling in the cruelty, “Yes, a living testament to how lowly one can stoop. A walking reminder of what we, the beautiful and affluent, graciously allow to exist in our world. Get down on the floor by our feet!”
With a condescending smile, Isabella extended her bare foot, adorned with an expensive anklet, and pressed it against Lydia’s bald head. “Do you see this foot, Lydia? See how beautiful it is, compared to your disgusting appearance.”
Lydia, with tear-filled eyes, lowered her head further in submission, “Forgive me, mistresses, for being unworthy in your presence. I am but a lowly servant at your feet.”
Their laughter echoing through the opulent room, Isabella and Vivian continued to find more ways to insult and degrade the ugly servant at their feet.
